Virginia Commonwealth University is one of the top colleges on the East Coast that has a strong presence in the health sciences, medical doctor and Pharm D. program. Representatives of Allied Pharmacy Technician Training Program participated in the 2015 VCU Student Athlete Career Fair. With over 600 students in attendence, Allied Pharmacy Technician Training Program was able to host a series of information sessions to give undergraduate student athletes an opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical health profession and how our unique and knoweledgable pharmacy technician training program in the State of Virginia can prepare them for their National Pharmacy Techncian Certification Board Certificate and/ or State License.

As with our hands on simulation pharmacy lab, VCU student athletes had the chance to get a sneak peek into the many hands on activities our students partake in throughout our pharmacy technician training program. The majority of students that were interested and/or registered are undergraduate students with a major in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Pre- Med, Pre- Pharmacy declared majors. We also had the opportunity to talk to some students with undeclared majors about the healthcare and pharmacy career path.

Career fair and events such as those that are held by VCU brings a great wealth of knowledge and exposure to undergraduate students seeking stable employment in the Greater Richmond Virginia Area.

Allied Pharmacy Technician Training program is a Virginia Board Approved Pharmacy Technician Training program. We are the 'Best' pharmacy technician training program in the State of Virginia and provide pharmacy technician training in the format of in class learning and online classes. Students that are in our program have a high success rate of passing their National Certification Exam and Virginia Board of Pharmacy (Pharmacy Technician Exam).
